Course Description:
The Basic Instructor Course is designed for individuals seeking to develop foundational skills in teaching and delivering instruction. This course provides participants with the essential tools, knowledge, and techniques required to lead and instruct in various settings. Through a combination of classroom sessions, students will learn about lesson planning, risk management, effective communication, group management, and instructional techniques tailored to different learning styles. Upon completion, participants will have the skills to conduct safe and engaging educational experiences in the outdoors, preparing them to serve as competent and confident basic instructors.

Learn how to effectively plan, structure, and organize lesson content to meet learning objectives. Topics include lesson planning, resource selection, and setting up a conducive learning environment.
